Founded in 1927, the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown provides a high quality educational experience that is purposefully designed to prepare students for the real world of the 21st century. 

With a student-to-faculty ratio of 17:1, Pitt-Johnstown can offer personalized instruction in state-of-the-art classrooms. Students select from among 48 major fields of study, including programs in business, education, engineering technology, nursing and health sciences, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences.

Pitt-Johnstown provides a well-rounded student experience, including 95 active student organizations and a tradition of athletic excellence with nationally recognized, award-winning NCAA Division II athletics.  Its scenic 655-acre campus features a nature preserve with hiking trails, a state-of-the-art performing arts center, and a leading conference center.
